TIRRENO-ADRIATICO STAGE 7 IN NUMBERS
Team Jumbo-Visma’s Primoz Roglic denied Mitchelton-SCOTT’s Adam Yates overall victory at Tirreno by just one second, as Lotto Soudal’s Victor Campenaerts won the final-stage individual time trial.
Campenaerts beat Alberto Bettiol (EF Education First Pro Cycling) into second place by three seconds and Jos van Emden (Team Jumbo-Visma) into third by four seconds.
Roglic finished 26 seconds faster than Yates in 11th place, which was enough to overturn the Briton’s 25-second overnight advantage in the general classification. Jakob Fuglsang (Astana Pro Team) finished third overall, 30 seconds down.
