Rohan Dennis (Team INEOS) finished off The Digital Swiss 5 in the same way as he started it by taking the win in Race 5. Nicolas Roche (Team Sunweb) made the podium once again as he finished in second place, while Jonas Vingegaard (Team Jumbo-Visma) was third.
After his impressive victory in Race 1, Dennis was the prime pick for Sunday’s Race 5 and the time trial world champion didn’t disappoint. He took the lead early on the opening climb and managed to keep his rivals behind him all the way towards the finishing line.
